Ty doesn't ordinarily say funny things.  He's very particular about his speech and won't usually try out a word unless he already knows it, has practiced it in his head, and is confident that he'll get it right.

So, how thrilled was I when he asked if we could make the Hot L...???  He was reading the word "hotel" which was one of the things we could build with Legos.  We got right to work.

He's been fascinated with his Baby Memory Book.  Of course I'm the mom who pretty much stopped writing in it...  Um....  Pretty much right away.  He chose to fill in his own blanks where it says "Our Favorite Names".  For girls he wrote "Jenna" and "Jean".  For boys, he wrote "Tyler" and "Jack".  I had to tell him that he can't fill in his own baby book.  I guess I should get on that.
