Ted and the "Cap"eteria...
Ty came home all excited this afternoon because his teacher had chosen his stick (which I'm assuming is a popsicle stick and each kid has one!) and it was his turn to take Ted home. Ted is the class teddy bear, and he gets to go home with each student for a night. He has lots of clothes, and a special blanket. He also brings his own bedtime stories to read together... Ty wanted to show Ted his camper and his motorcycle.

He also went to Grandma's house, but waited in the car when we went to Fresca's.... Ty wrote three sentences about Ted's visit and drew a picture. Now, Ted is dressed in his pajamas, and they're waiting for me so we can read the next chapter of "Phantom Tollbooth".
On the way home, Ty told us that the room at his school that he doesn't like very much is the capeteria. (Yes, that's a "p" in there...) I think it was dark in there when they went on their school tour. He doesn't want to buy his lunch in the kitchen because that's next to the capeteria.
