M-I-S-S-P-P-I-I-I
Tyler is obsessed with the USA puzzle my dad brought up a couple of weekends ago.
He asks (repeatedly!) if Canada is a country or a state. What about Mexico? Is Alaska next to Canada? Where's the Gulf of Mexico? Does the Atlantic Ocean touch New Jersey? Does the Pacific Ocean touch Washington? Does it touch Mexico? Does it touch Alaska? (Etc.)
Ty now knows most of the state capitals (probably all of them, but I'm afraid to ask! LOL) now.
Tonight when we were out to dinner, Ty was regaling us with his spelling ability. Perhaps because we watched part of "Akeela and the Spelling Bee" on Showtime last night? He can spell Thursday and Monday easily.
Mark asked him to spell "Mississippi", and Ty paused. Mark said, "Just pretend you're looking at the map, and what do you see?" The answer? "M-I-S-S-P-P-I-I-I"
Close! :)
